Vitamins are Nutrients not Medicine

--Congressman Waxman Sneaks Anti-Supplement Language into
"Wall Street Reform Bill"
- Urgent Action Needed!

The agents of Big Pharma are at it again. Since the majority
of their direct attacks against supplements have failed,
they have resorted to sneaking anti-supplement provisions
into other, completely unrelated legislation.
We've all heard about recent example of this in relation
to Senator McCain's (R-AZ) attempt to sneak language into
S. 510 that would create an "Accepted Dietary Ingredients"
list toseverely restrict what is allowed to be included
in a dietary supplement. This new action by Congressman
Henry Waxman (D-CA), however, is just as sinister.

To my knowledge, consumers of nutritional supplements are
generally regarded as healthier people according to various
researchers. However, staying healthier translates into less
bucks for other industry involved with sickness.
These industries would prefer to leave the horse barn doors
wide open only to close it after the horse has run off.
